Z&A Chauffeur

Now that The Femdom Hunt VII is over, it's time to release the gifts into the main store and onto the Second Life Marketplace. The first product to make available is one that has been on my "todo" list for a while, and the hunt finally gave me a good reason to get it written:

Introduction

One of the great benefits of a leash in Second Life is that someone else gets to do all the work. When you take your sub/slave out shopping, for example, the dominant gets to do all the walking and dragging around and the sub/slave... well, they get to sit back and enjoy the ride, or cam around at their leisure.

It was then pointed out to me one day that this isn't really a "benefit"; or at least the wrong end of the leash was getting the benefit.. And so, after a lot of "persuasion", the Z&A Chauffeur was born.

Simply put: it's a pairing of a dominant and a sub HUD that allows the dominant to be invisibly "leashed", but under the dominant's control. With the Z&A Chauffeur it's the dominant who gets to sit back, relax, and have someone else do all the keyboard mashing and finding of landmarks.

What you get

In the package you'll find three different HUDs. They are called:

Z&A Chauffeur (Submissive)

This is the HUD that the sub/slave should wear. It has copy/transfer permissions so you are free to give out as many copies as you like. Note that, while RLV is not required for this HUD to work, it's expected that RLV will be used; it makes most sense if your "driver" (the submissive) is using RLV.

Z&A Chauffeur (Dominant)

This is the HUD that the dominant should wear.

Z&A Chauffeur (Dominant, RLV)

This is a version of the dominant HUD that adds a couple of extra features if the dominant also has RLV switched on. These features are: 1) turning your avatar and camera to better face the direction of walking, 2) when your "driver" offers you a teleport you'll automatically accept it (this saves you having to reach for your mouse).

What it does

The main purpose of the HUD combination is that it lets the dominant auto-follow the submissive, but always in a way where the dominant is in control:

It's very important that the "driver" doesn't do anything to embarrass you, so control over being "forced" to run and fly is built in:

If you have a number of locations you like to visit often, the bookmark facility should be helpful:

If you like to use RLV yourself, there's a version of the Dominant HUD that uses RLV for a couple of extra features:

I think it's a great little product that can be used to make a submissive serve a very useful purpose while out and about on the grid.

Those who want to take the submissive role can ask a Z&A Chauffeur owner for a copy of the submissive's HUD so they can wear it all the time, ready to be claimed at any moment. I've also made the submissive HUD available for free in the main store and on the Second Life Marketplace:

Grab this. Wear it all the time. Who knows, the next time you're at your favourite kink hangout, or shopping event, you might find yourself being claimed and forced into service!

Z&A Vehicle (Sleigh)

Time for another Z&A RLV vehicle "refit". After a couple of weeks of motorised vehicles I'm back with something a little simpler, something where the dominant gets to sit back, with a friend, and watch as the RLV-controlled "driver" does all the work. This one is also perfect for snowy conditions. It's the Z&A Sleigh:

This is a brand new version of the sleigh, now using mesh, new textures, and obviously using the new vehicle system (so with fewer scripts and using less memory). One significant change over the original is that it now only seats two passengers rather than four. While I'd prefer not to reduce the seats for a vehicle (and haven't in any of the other refits), I felt this was a good move for this one.

The vehicle has an RLV-controlled "driving" position, where the sub gets to pull the vehicle under their own steam:

The vehicle itself is simple to drive and, as with all of the Z&A vehicles, is designed to be accessible with easy-to-use menu options and appropriate RLV options to keep the victim nice and secure for the duration of the ride.

For those who wish to make the vehicle available for public use on their region, there's a public rezzer version too:

As well as including the normal vehicle (there's no need to buy both if you want a personal vehicle and a public rezzer version) it also includes a rezzer object that will rez copies of the vehicle that anyone can drive -- with a full clean-up system that ensures your region doesn't fill up with unwanted sleighs.

If you'd like to try the vehicle out, see what it looks like, see how it drives, etc, do feel free to pop down to the main store and head to the vehicle test area where you'll find a rezzer set up. As well as vendor boards in the main store you'll also find the vehicle and the rezzer for sale on the Second Life marketplace.

Z&A Submission HUD v1.10

I've just released v1.10 of the Z&A Submission HUD:

This release contains the following changes:
  • Improved the object-picking menu for the Sit/Unsit module, so that it's easier to read the names of the objects that can be sat on.
  • Improved the avatar/object menu for the Leash module, so that it's easier to read the names of the avatars/objects that can be leash targets.
  • SubHUD now attempts to send the dominant an IM if it is removed while locked.
  • Added a group set/lock module. With this you can force-set a sub's group (if they're a member of that group) and also lock them out of changing current group.
There are two more changes in SubHUD v1.10 that deserve a little more than bullet points. Starting with this version, I've added the ability to grant "full control" to the dominant. This is used for, and will be used for, features that I feel go beyond normal levels of consent, and that require the submissive to actively switch on. Think of it as a method of enabling features that might change the current nature of SubHUD itself.

To active this, a new object is included in the package (Z&A Sub HUD Full Control Granter). To grant full control, a sub's SubHUD must be worn and locked. They then rez out the "Z&A Sub HUD Full Control Granter", touch it, and consent to full control being given:

After this is done, the dominant will have the fullest possible control over the SubHUD, and this will remain in place until the SubHUD itself is next unlocked.

For now, enabling this adds one new feature: the ability to transfer a sub. Using this a dominant can decide to give away or sell a sub. Primary control of the HUD will be passed to the newly-nominated owner.

A potentially exciting feature for some, but one that should be activated wisely.

Updates are being sent to all existing customers. If you miss the update you can use the redelivery board in the main store.

Z&A Vehicle (P50)

Time for another "refit" of a Z&A vehicle. This one, like last week's release, is one of the more fun ones. The emphasis is on silliness rather than anything else. The vehicle in question is a hilariously and adorably small P50:

While the main build is still the same, it uses the new Z&A vehicle system, which means it has fewer scripts (and so uses less script memory). I've also tweaked the textures a little, using materials where appropriate.

The car itself has a non-RLV controlled driving position:

Of course, to be a Z&A vehicle, there needs to be a spot where you can RLV lock a victim. Given there's not much room to be had in the P50, there's only one spot available:

The vehicle itself is simple to drive and, as with all of the Z&A vehicles, is designed to be accessible with easy-to-use menu options and appropriate RLV options to keep the victim nice and secure for the duration of the ride.

It also has working projector lights and a colour-change menu.

For those who wish to make the vehicle available for public use on their region, there's a public rezzer version too:

As well as including the normal vehicle (there's no need to buy both if you want a personal vehicle and a public rezzer version) it also includes a rezzer object that will rez copies of the vehicle that anyone can drive -- with a full clean-up system that ensures your region doesn't fill up with unwanted P50s.

The Femdom Hunt VII

Another reminder that, starting tomorrow, it's The Femdom Hunt VII.

As with every other hunt before it, you'll find a great mixture of shops and actual Femdom-based locations that can be found all over the grid. Each one will have gifts to find.

Both Z&A and Raven Park are taking part (considering we run the hunt, that's not really much of a shocker is it?). I've made three gifts that I'm really rather proud of (there'll be two from Z&A and one from Raven Park), one of which I'm very excited about as it's something I've being meaning to make for quite some time and the hunt finally gave me a reason to get scripting.

So... don't forget, starting tomorrow (October 13th) you get two weeks to collect lots of fun gifts.

PS: And don't forget there's a hunt opening weekend dance happening on Saturday.

Z&A Vehicle (Scooter)

This week I'm releasing another "refit" of an existing Z&A vehicle. We're back to motor vehicles and, I think, one of the more fun ones (in a silly sense of fun). It's the Z&A Scooter:

As well as using the new vehicle system (so having fewer scripts and using less script memory) I've given some of the textures a bit of a refresh, using materials where appropriate.

The scooter offers a non-RLV controlled driving position:

On the back of the scooter is a RLV-controlled seat, where your "passenger" gets to hold all of your shopping as you scoot around the streets, looking for your next stop.

As well as including the normal vehicle (there's no need to buy both if you want a personal vehicle and a public rezzer version) it also includes a rezzer object that will rez copies of the vehicle that anyone can drive -- with a full clean-up system that ensures your region doesn't fill up with unwanted scooters.

Appliers added to the leather and wool hood/catsuits

I've just updated the Z&A Leather Hood and Catsuit and the Z&A Wool Hood and Catsuit to include appliers for the catsuits for Maitreya mesh bodies and also the Omega applier system.

Updates are currently being sent out. If you don't receive one do please feel free to drop into the main store and use the redelivery board. If it turns out that you can't get a redlivery it's possible that your purchase pre-dates Z&A's move to CasperVend -- if that happens just drop me (Antony Fairport) a line and I can check your purchase history and sort a redelivery out for you.

Z&A Vehicle (Wingback)

After last week's little diversion into releasing brand new vehicle builds, this week I'm returning to refitting and remaking the original Z&A RLV vehicles. This week it's the turn of the Wingback:

As well as using the new vehicle system (so having fewer scripts and using less script memory) the vehicle has been totally remade in mesh and has a whole new set of textures (with lots of nice materials added). The land impact is also slightly lower (now LI2 vs the original L18).

The vehicle has a RLV-controlled driver's position, and a comfy wingback chair for a passenger who gets to enjoy being pulled along by the driver.

The vehicle itself is simple to drive and, as with all of the Z&A vehicles, is designed to be accessible with easy-to-use menu options and appropriate RLV options to keep the victim nice and secure for the duration of the ride.

There's also a menu option for changing the design of the main cushion.

For those who wish to make the vehicle available for public use on their region, there's a public rezzer version too:

As well as including the normal vehicle (there's no need to buy both if you want a personal vehicle and a public rezzer version) it also includes a rezzer object that will rez copies of the vehicle that anyone can drive -- with a full clean-up system that ensures your region doesn't fill up with unwanted wingbacks.

PS: If carriages and rickshaw-like vehicles are your thing, I've also now released a fatpack of such vehicles, which includes the wingback and four others:

For those who might prefer the public rezzer option, a fatpack for that is available too:

All of these vehicles can be played with and tested on the Z&A vehicle test track.

Steampunk dance

Yesterday afternoon we parked a Prometheus-Class Steampunk Aircraft Carrier above the Raven Park Mansion, Miss Eve provided lots of excellent music, and we danced and nattered and got a little tipsy for a couple of hours. You can see an album of photos from the dance over on Google Photos. Here are some highlights:

Apparently, if you call into question Anna's prim
editing skills, it makes her get all creative
during a dance!

Many thanks to everyone who came along, and to Miss Eve for all the awesome music. See you in a couple of weeks time for..... The Femdom Hunt VII opening weekend dance!
