Raven Park dance this Saturday

Sometimes, just sometimes, the themes for Raven Park dances are influenced by the people who have an influence on Antony. This week is very much one of those. It seems that more than one person on Raven Park has a bit of an obsession with love of a certain BBC show all about dancing. Hints have been hinted, a fair bit, and so Antony's had to give in and go with the theme.

Kind of.

I mean, really, you can't go with something called Strictly Come Dancing and ignore the first word, can you? And especially not on Raven Park.

So it's time for a Strictly Kinky Ball.

Think ballroom dancing, think kinky, think strict.... Think strict kinky ballroom dancing. Okay, yeah, this one really isn't going to be that hard at all is it? ;)

Great British seaside dance

Yesterday afternoon we hit the beach to make the most of the last few perfect seaside days in the UK. The tunes were.... perfect. The tea was kind of watered down. The sand was mostly clean. The setting... well, we'll let Miss Eve describe that:
Tonight's Special is a fusion dish, blending cliché and stereotype.
The gloom of Whitby meets the brashness of Brighton, marinaded in the chill of Aberdeen, infused with the vulgarity of Blackpool and the cliché of Barry Island.
Topped with the cheese of Skegness, served with a jus of Minehead and decorated with a delicate garnish of the desperation/determination to have a good time at any cost that is a vital part of any seaside hen or stag outing, this is sure to delight!
There's an album of photos over on imgur. Here's a few highlights:

As well as photos, there's also three videos. Sadly the first and third had to be muted for copyright reasons -- this is especially bad for the third given that the track was perfect.

Many thanks to everyone who braved the weather, and to Miss Eve for some perfect seaside tunes. See you all in a couple of weeks!

Raven Park dance this Saturday

Now that, in the northern hemisphere at least, summer is coming to a close, it's time to have one last trip to the beach. Not just any beach though. So, this Saturday, given it's time for another Raven Park dance, we're heading off to the Great British Seaside!

So throw on your best (possibly warm) costume, bring your packed lunch, pack some deckchairs, bring an umbrella; don't, whatever you do, forget a flask of tea; and come and enjoy what's bound to be a hilarious musical set.

Space dance

Yesterday's Raven Park dance was a bit of a celebration of Anna's birthday and also Antony's (almost) rez day. Given their common interest in all things related to space and astronomy (yes, it isn't all pervery!) the theme of the dance was.... space. There's an album of images over on imgur; here's a few highlights:

And, to add to the photos, here's three videos:

Many thanks to everyone who joined us (and to those who were claimed by RL this week: we missed you!) and especially to Miss Eve who put together a great set of music. See you all in a couple of weeks time!

Raven Park dance this Saturday

This Saturday it's time for another Raven Park dance. It's also kind of a double party too. This weekend is Anna's birthday and a few days later it's Antony's rezday. Given this the theme will be something they both have in common. That's kind of tricky given they have a lot in common; but once we whittle away all the perverted filth and general D/s tomfoolery there's a big one left: a love of astronomy.

So that's a theme then!

T.A.Rector (NOAO/AURA/NSF) and Hubble Heritage Team (STScI/AURA/NASA)

Big theme. Really big theme. Vastly, hugely, mind-bogglingly big theme. But, hopefully, an easy one to dress for. Just come dressed in something to do with space. Your favourite astronomer. Your favourite planet. Your favourite ex-planet. Your favourite spaceship. Anything.... Just make it spacey. All it needs to be is about...
