Z&A SciFi Cell (Bars Brig)

Today we're expanding our new range of cells with another SciFi style cell. Matching the Bars Field cell this is designed more as the sort of enclosed brig you'd see on a spacecraft or space station. We call it the bars brig cell:

In the owner/admin menu there is an option for changing the colour of the bars to one of seven different colours. There is also a "Avi Mode" colour option that sets the colours of the bars to a special colour calculated for the last avatar to enter.

You can find this new cell in the new product area of our main store as well as on the Second Life Marketplace. A copy permission version is also available in the main store.

Z&A SciFi Cell (Bars Field)

Today we're expanding our new range of Z&A Cells with a reboot of one of our old sci-fi cell designs. Comprising of an open box and visible (when the door is closed) light bars all around this cell will nicely hold any futuristic inmate while keeping them easily visible from all around.

The Femdom Hunt V is coming

For the 4th year and for the 5th time1 we're proud to be organising The Femdom Hunt. This won't be news to anyone who is a member of the group or who follows the blog. For everyone else....

Starting Friday you'll find lots of Femdom-related gifts sprinkled around the grid. To take part just come along to the Z&A main store, follow the hint to find the hunt object (a shoe), touch it to get a folder with your gifts (yes, there will be 2 from Z&A -- both filled with lots of RLV goodness too), use the landmark you'll also find inside to get to the next location and do the same again. Then keep going and doing the same again until you have lots of gifts in your inventory.

Raven Park is also in the hunt too so when you reach there you'll find yet another Z&A gift.

Related to this: this weekend's Raven Park dance will be moving to the Z&A main store and will serve as the opening weekend dance for the hunt. You can read more about this over on the hunt blog.

In other words: busy week at Z&A. And, yes, there's still a product release to come this week (watch this space tomorrow).

Hope to see you on the hunt!

1 There were two hunts in the first year, in case you're wondering.

Z&A Walkabout and a new cell

Today we're releasing two very different products. The first is another in a long line of products that have come off Antony's Mistress' wishlist. Anyone who follows Antony's blog will know how his Mistress is a very keen user of a combination of the Z&A Sub-Allowance and a Z&A Punishment Picker. Amongst the "payments" he has to make to earn his allowance are items that involve going for wanders on the mainland (it forces him out of the workshop for a few hours if nothing else).

One thing his Mistress wanted, to work with that sort of payment, was some way of ensuring he kept moving. It's one thing to drop him on the mainland and use his SubHUD to deny TP for a while but that doesn't really ensure that he's taking a proper wander, properly exploring, moving all the time.

Antony, being the exceptionally good sub that he is, took his Mistress' wish and made a product out of it. The result is the Z&A Walkabout:

This is a lockable HUD that is worn by the sub/slave (controlled by someone else using the Z&A Restraint HUD) which lets you set them up so they get punished if they loiter on the spot too long, spend too long in one region or return to a region too soon. The punishments, which take the form of a large selection of RLV restrictions, can be configured by you. When the HUD is locked on a timer you can also configure things so that time penalties are applied for violating the walkabout rules.

The second release is a new cell in our new range of Z&A Cells. We call this the Slatted Wood Cell.

You can both these new products in the new product area in the main store, as well as on the Second Life Marketplace. You'll also find a copy-permission version of the cell in the main store.

Frocks dance

Yesterday afternoon we had Raven Park's "Get the focks out!" dance. We have an album of photos from the gathering; here's a few highlights:

Raven Park dances, now in widescreen

Many thanks to everyone who turned up (especially those who turned up in a frock!), and to Eve for putting together a great collection of tracks. The next Raven Park dance will actually take place at the Z&A main store and will be celebrating the start of The Femdom Hunt V. Keep an eye on this blog and/or the hunt blog for more details.

The new Z&A Cell range

It's coming up 3 years since we originally opened the Z&A Cell Shop and launched the original range of Z&A Cells. In that time so much has changed at Z&A and so much has changed on the grid! So, a little earlier this year, we decided it was high time to revisit our range of cells and the script system that powers them.

Just like with our RLV hold/display devices we wanted to do a ground-up rewrite with an emphasis on more flexibility for the user, lower script resource usage where possible and, as much as possible, build with mesh to either greatly reduce land impact or increase detail (or both).

Key additions to how Z&A cells work are:

  • Choice of RL or SL timer
  • Ability to set a random timer between a minimum and maximum value
  • As well as the usual public/group/owner access system there is also an admin system that allows you to name people who have the same rights as the owner
  • Lots more control over the RLV restrictions applied to inmates
  • Door locking (with owner/admin override -- useful for use in public playgrounds)
  • RLV-based grab facility

Starting today we're launching a whole new range of cells based on this work. Some will reboot older designs, others will be brand new designs. The initial releases include both and comprise of:

Z&A Cell (Concrete & Brick)

Z&A Cell (Concrete Grunge)

Z&A Cell (Dark Glass)

Z&A Cell (Garden Shed)

Z&A Cell (Latex Vault)

Z&A Cell (Metal Vault)

Z&A Cell (Narrow Metal Cage)

Z&A Cell (Wire Cage)

Z&A SciFi Cell (Floor Field)

As with our RLV hold/display devices, with this new cell range, we're also making copy-permission versions available from the main store.

These new cells can be found in the new product section (and the cell sales wing) of our main store as well as on the Second Life marketplace.
